    Collide! Collide!

Collision detection finally done! Took me a hell of a time trying to figure out piece by piece. It's time to do school work that I've neglected for 1/2 of the holidays.

Presenting you, the multi-slope collision and multi-character skinning capable Tile Engine v0.0.2 (that has a hard coded Tiled plugin available). Wohoo!

War on Chrisila - Operation: Crusader Storm

    n20679360328_5381

It was a dark, foggy night. We gathered our armies, along with our allies, on the sidelines of the Chrisilian Kingdom. The atmosphere was thick, our hearts were racing, every second passed as if an hour has gone by.

Not long ago, the Kingdom of Chrisila launched a massive, continuous attack on our allies, consisting of guerilla warfare and black magick. Our alliance - The Crusaders, is known to fight alongside with our men, defending each other from chain-attacks, had warned the offending kingdom. However, our warnings were not complied, along with further devastating attacks pointing at us. The Kingdom of Chrisila clearly means business, and thus The Crusaders (CR) and our ally, The Order of The Knights Templar (OKT) officially declared war against Chrisila, while leaving an option for the kingdom to cease their attacks and surrender.

From that day onwards, kingdoms of CR and OKT has exchanged blows with Chrisila. At that time, my kingdom wished to join the war but was stopped by the Grand Marshal due to the size of our kingdom. Even with full force, our armies are no match for Chrisila, the chances of victory is zero.

Our intelligence has managed to come back with a spy report on Chrisila. The opponent's defences have dropped significantly over time. It's finally the time for our kingdom to strike.

Along the sounding of war drums, 'CHARGE!', I roared. Swords in the air, my men consisting of soldiers, pikemen and wizards stormed into the borders of Chrisila, eliminating all targets in sight. Witnessing the opposition force fled with terror, the victory is ours. Although we managed to seize a little amount of gold, but the amount of land we conquered, along with the buildings, is rewarding. As this is the first time my kingdom participated in a full fledged war, the experience is exhilarating.

On each hour, my men will wait at the borders of Chrisila, waiting for the chance to attack, until the day Kingdom of Chrisila finally surrenders.

    [RADIO] Lance: Enemy down!

Wohoo! Maths II Phase Test is over and holiday officially starts! *dances*

About the test, some of the questions are pretty challenging, took me more than ten minutes to figure out each of them, especially the sections regarding complex numbers and vectors. One of them is rediculously scored, a hefty 11 marks - and I only provided a 4 line answer. Okay, consider the marks gone =_=. Anyway, it's slightly easier than the end test on the last semester, so I probably won't flunk this one THAT badly. At least I knew all my trigonometry this time right? RIGHT?

So KBU kicked us out immediately after we finished our exam. Early Raya break, they're locking up early today. Went for McFlurry without William and that's pretty much all I have for today :D

    Psst... HOLIDAY! YAY!! :D

    A Glass and a Lake

I got this from my sister, very inspiring story.

Once an unhappy young man came to an old master and told he was very sad and asked for a solution.

The old Master instructed the unhappy young man to put a handful of salt in a glass of water and then to drink it.

"How does it taste?" the Master asked.

    "Awful," spat the apprentice.

The Master chuckled and then asked the young man to take another handful of salt and put it in the lake. The two walked in silence to the nearby lake and when the apprentice swirled his handful of salt into the lake, the old man said, "Now drink from the lake."

As the water dripped down the young man's chin, the Master asked, "How does it taste?"

"Good!" remarked the apprentice. "Do you taste the salt?" asked the Master.

    "No," said the young man.

The Master sat beside this troubled young man, took his hands, and said, "The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains the same, exactly the same. But the amount we taste the 'pain' depends on the container we put it into. So when you are  in pain, the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things ..... Stop being a glass. Become a lake!"

    A Friend

UPDATE: Ceasefire in progress. I hereby take all my words back regarding 'MK Land' and 'MK'.  For privacy, the true identity behind 'MK' will not be revealed but the person will be referred with a more respectable name. He has done something respectable, ladies and gentlemen, and I appreciate his final (although short) action.

Today, I'll dedicate my blog entry for a person I met in life that made me realize life is full of interesting people. Let's describe his looks, he looks okay, from my point of view, but people claimed he looked cocky, which I don't understand why. But nevertheless, he is quite an interesting fellow.

A friend is still a friend, no matter how people suggest to me to give him a punch in the face, or pretend to hit him accidentally using a bokken, or even insult about his father working as the dumpster guy in MK Land, but I refused to. Everybody needs respect, even though the person has an amusing habit of comitting childish acts, watching people's WLM nickname, spying on people's blog, posting absolutely senseless nicknames or post anonymous comments.

On top of that, he actually felt sorry for me for being 'the most hated guy in class', that's what I call a friend. Best of all, he taught me a saying worth to be pinned on my wall 'For all you know, ppl might face you with a smile but behind your back?'.

Here it is, a space just for you.

    Peace.   \(^0^)/

    Caligynephobia

Typical reactions when confronted with a Bishōjo :
    1. Heartbeat accellerates to > 120 bpm.
    2. Think of initiating conversation.
    3. No conversation topics found, abort conversation initiative.
    4. Avoid eye contact.
    5. Increase movement speed.
    6. Escape!

    Funny eh?

I'm Gonna Build A Tile Engine (No, I'm Not Kidding)

Yes! I'm gonna build a J2ME 2D side scrolling tile engine that supports physics, panorama (parallax), animation, effects and layering.

The problem is: I'm lazy. Now somebody please give me some motivation. The motivator(s) will get special prize/fame/award/favour/whatever after my stuff is done.

    Rempit Styles - Uncyclopedia

Foreword: Looks like THIS-IS-ADDED-TO-PREVENT-THE-BOT-FROM-CITING-THIS-PAGEMalaysiaKini.com's bot has linked back to this page. This blog has gotten unecessary publicity >_<

    Rempit styles

    • The Superman style was create by lying down horizontally on the bike and speeding at 150kmh. Guiness world of records were amazed when they tested the results and found out the this method actually increased the speed by 20% and giving them +2 bonus when evading police roadblocks. The Sailboat method was also a jaw-dropping skill where the rempit stands on the seat of the bike and control the bike via their feet. This method harness the wind's energy and thus lowers fuel consumption and saving enough money to buy drugs and cigarettes, giving them -25% fuel consumption, +10% money saving, +3 bonus when there is a strong wind. Another way is where the rempit does a willy where they will carry the front wheels and ride only on the back wheel. With less surface touching the ground, they manage to lower the friction, this is the most common method and can be found on the streets of Penang almost every midnight.
    • The Deadman method is usually found near traffic lights or under a lorry's wheel. Usually rempits will zig-zag in traffic and end up under a lorry or fly across a junction when the traffic light is red at the speeds of 120km/h and usually end up colliding with a solid object. This is another common method in rempiting especially among the newbies. However, there is one drawback. This skill is the ultimate skill where the user can only cast it once in their life. After casting it, no cards can be drawn and regrets are not accepted. Loser loses 40 lives and gains a +150% pain bonus and +3 bonus from instant death. If user has helmet, loser only loses 30 lives and gains only 120% pain bonus and +30% chance of succumbing into a coma.
    • The Spiderman method is where rempits ride the motorbike in pairs. The pillion rider stands at the back of the seat. The driver gains -20% fuel consumption because the pillion harnesses the energy from the wind. The pillion rider gets high and starts swinging his hand like a propeller and thus giving the motorbike a +50% speed boost for 8 seconds. During this time, there is a 20% chance that the pillion rider will fall off the bike and suffer broken bones. This is probably the best way to enjoy rempiting if you do not have driving license.

    It's a Wicked Society

I remember last time when we learn lots of stuff in Moral classes. Like, for instance, when you see an old lady taking lots of stuff walking up the stairs, you should help them. In the real world, when I'm confronted with such situation, yes, my instincts tell me to go and help her. Unfortunately, the society has changed. There are people who appeared to be willing to help, but in the end, they snatch your stuff and run. When I thought of this, I hold myself and walk away.

It's a wicked society where accepting help needs to be thinked twice.

In the news, I often read cases like somebody appearing to ask for help in changing the tyres of his car, but when you stop down and leave your car, poof, they point a knife at you and hijack your car.

It's a wicked society where giving help needs to be thinked twice.

When we were young, we were taught to queue up and wait for your turn. In the real world, if you queue up, you'll wait forever for your turn.

It's a wicked society where the word 'considerate' doesn't even exist, a wicked society where people exploit the only traits of humanity - compassion, sympathy, loyalty (etc.). What we end up now is an inhuman society, where nobody can be trusted.

And now, in Malaysia, the streets are no longer safe. Corruption of government. Even police lost their dignity and integrity. Yet we are still paying them, and voting for them. Take a look at MalaysiaKini.com or other net papers, you'll be suprised what has been hidden from the mainstream media all along.

    Ahh! They caught me :(

"Most Hated Guy in Class Award" Winner - ME

Suprise suprise, I'm (one of) the most hated guy(s) in class! How cool is that?

Well, it all starts with my friend's girlfriend's friend's friend's boyfriend (unknown identity) being in the same class with me, telling (or complaining) to his girlfriend, which is my friend's girlfriend's friend's friend (man, I'm getting enough of this), she (my friend's girlfriend's friend's friend, FGFF) won't see him (friend's girlfriend's friend's friend's boyfriend, FGFFB) hanging out with us (me and my friend) because we are the most hated guys in class (wow).

Well, I might be hated because of my schizoid personality (refer to my Facebook MyPersonality application), but my friend? Well, he's the #1 smarty pants and all, but what's with the link with 'the most hated guys'? That guy's (FGFFB) reason - because we are good in English and 'chuan'. Yeah right. Not to bail myself out, but frankly speaking, we both did nothing.

I don't know the logic, but I've seen 'chuan' people in class (till the extent of dropping your stuff without apologizing and deliberately take away the chair at your place right in front of you and sit on it, or not even looking/answering you when you talk to them). Look who's complaining now?

    I don't understand what's going on. :P
