29 dicembre LostAfter coming back from Jakarta a few days ago (minus 2 days of sickness), I have come to realize that I have nothing to do. No aim; No objectives. The only thing I do is watching anime, watching anime and watching anime. I wonder what other people are doing now.. Hmm.. 27 dicembre Elecom Shield v2For information on the latest version of Elecom Shield, follow this link: New generation of anti-bot, anti-hack and client enhancement (RPC native BGM, RPC screen postprocessor, RPC screenshot) system for eAthena servers.
Note:
The development of Destiny Online and Elecom Shield have halted. My regards to the OpenKore community (if you manage to see this, that means you Googled "Elecom Shield" and picked the first result! You're waaaaaay better than those who do not Google). Please do not try to bot on any systems with Elecom Shield implemented, it harms the brain cells of the server owner. OpenKore and VisualKore are really fine products, in fact, they're the de-facto MMORPG robots (reminds me of the good 'ol days of cat and mouse with a AID aware teleporting OpenKore user before I've implemented packet-level cloaking in eAthena). So please bot in servers that allows bots and leave those poor guys alone won't ya? ;D
This site has around 30 individual hits per day just because of this particular post with the keyword "Elecom Shield". It's really sad that nobody is interested in my blog entries (not that what I blog makes any sense anyway :P).
My kudos to Kore developers who managed to figure out the protocols and managed to bypass conventional GameGuard, I wish I can learn from them.
(If you are from OpenKore, you may stop reading from here.)
So this is my version of 'VisualKore', except it's built to keep the Kores out of the game area. Very ambitious, but noobish project. I remember last time I planned to write a kernel mode driver for it, but I think the idea went to far off - I might as well as program an anti-virus and sell it. 01 dicembre DIY USB Charger for Nintendo DSBought a Nintendo DS on eBay and to the horror it came with a 100V AC adapter? Have no fear, Lance is here!
It's time to transform your 100V AC Adapter to a handy USB Charger! (Same procedures also work for PSP, but PSP's charger has voltage switching capability).
This guide is not intended for beginners. I left out the diagrams because I'm lazy. You'll have to do some homework if you want to know the specs for USB.
The Theory
The NDS adapter outputs 5.2V 320mA DC current. The USB bus power is operating at 4.9V-5.4V. So the USB power is directly compatible with NDS.
The Steps (short-cut)
If you don't own a spare NDS adapter and a spare USB cable, you may try this. Be warned, you can blow up your USB hub if you short the terminals. You only need 2 wires to pull this off. Connect one end of your wire to the Vcc (+5V) plate (#1) of your USB hub and the other end to the + plate of your NDS. Then, connect one end of another wire to the GND (0V) plate (#4) of your USB hub and the other end to the - plate of your NDS.
The Steps (long)
Cut your USB cable in half, there should be 4 or 5 wires inside it. For 4 wire configuration, normally the red wire is Vcc and the black one is GND, as for 5 wire, the white wire is Vcc and the blue wire is GND. Still, I suggest you to test it with a multimeter or a test pen to be safe.
Cut your adapter's wire in half, you should see a jacket covering some wires then another jacket (green) covering some wires (total of 4 layers, starting from the core: wire, jacket, wire, jacket). I suggest you to strip off the outer jacket to have a longer (outer) wire exposed. Gather the (outer) wire and twist them into a single strand. Then peel off the inner jacket to have a longer (inner) wire exposed and twist them.
The inner wire is +5V and the outer one is GND. Connect the USB cable and adapter's cable according to their polarity and you're done!
