Final project, Malaysian Studies, Moral Studies, Aikido, Piano, Life... Sometimes I wonder if I can juggle the things properly.

 

We all know the fact Malaysia is a multi-racial country, so does China (China has more races than you can count with your fingers), the United States and many other countries. Malaysia is one of the only few countries that has political parties based on the color of skin. Can you expect total racial harmony when each of the political parties only mind the benefits of their own race? This is the source of racial conflicts, this is the source of racial descrimination.

 

I can't believe the phrase 'racial harmony' still exists in our country. If we've achieved racial harmony, we won't refer people by their races, we won't even have the phrases 'cina babi (chinese pigs)' or 'melayu bodoh (malay idiots)' coming out of our mouths. We won't have MCA 'fighting for the rights of Chinese', MIC 'fighting for the rights of Indians' and 'UMNO fighting for the rights of Malays'. After looking at other countries, looks like we're the only country that has this kind of nonsense.

 

And what more, election is around the corner. Let's look at what MCA posted:

- DAP, challenge UMNO if you have guts. (Friendly fire?)

- If you don't vote for MCA, the entire chinese community will collapse. (Wow, racial harmony!)

- MCA spent RMxxx building xxx (Err, I thought that's OUR money.)

- MCA earned more seats for Chinese in JPA. (That proves we don't have equal rights.)

- MCA earned the rights to build a few new Chinese schools. (Since when we lost the rights to build schools with our own money? Oh, sorry, I forgot UMNO existed.)

 

We have the freedom of speech - yeah right. BN can send anyone to jail under ISA. Peaceful protests are counter-acted with chemical sprays and teargas. "It is not our culture to protest on the streets." If you're right, Malayan Union will still be here and Malaysia will not even exist. What we see, what we hear and what we learn is fully controlled by BN. They have the power to conceal facts. Silently, they brainwashed everyone that doesn't have access to Internet. I believe soon, our Internet will be 'filtered' as well if this goes on...

 

Seriously, if we have freedom to choose our goverment, we won't have dirty tricks like phantom voters, KFC voters, $$ voters and sudden vote swings.

 

I'm sick of getting the 'filtered' information. I'm sick of watching the country degrade everyday. I'm sick of watching guilty people running lose. I'm sick of hearing our own people describe Malaysia in disgust. I'm sick of all these descrimination. I'm sick of UMNO having absolute power in the courts. I'm sick of BN trying to take over my mind.

 

BN, prove that I'm wrong, because I'm pretty sure I'm 'Correct Correct Correct' ;).
